Smells Like Spells built this series of hand-made candles around the 22 cards of the Major Arcana in the Tarot deck (from the Latin arcānus, "mystery"). Read in order, the 22 cards describe a person's spiritual path from birth to perfection.
This candle carries number 21 of the Major Arcana, The World. The card stands for the archetype of true calling and of seeing the meaning of your own life, and it holds all four elements: Fire, Water, Earth and Air. Each of us carries a great deal inside: emotional and spiritual wellbeing, goals and aspirations, material wealth and growth. Only we can choose which of these becomes the foundation of our world, which path to take and when to say the magic words "Ah, linger on, thou art so fair". The World card can help each of us find the true meaning of our life.
Each candle comes with one of the 22 Major Arcana cards. Read together with The World, it may suggest how, and at what level, this archetype shows itself in your life. The suggested affirmations and the lilac, orange, cinnamon, almond and liquorice fragrance are there to support that search for meaning.
The scent follows old customs and the belief that every plant and aroma has its own magical purpose, much like a witch's recipe in which each ingredient plays an aromatherapy role and a magic one. The main notes complement each other and form a high-end fragrance pyramid, with each scent in its own place.
