This PLOTTY bunk bed puts two 90 × 200 cm sleeping areas into one frame. The guard around the upper bed has distinctive rectangular openings, and the ladder can go on either side. Underneath you can add storage or an extra pull-out bed.

Benlemi makes it by hand in the Czech Republic from solid spruce grown in Czech forests. Finishes: Beige, White, Unvarnished, Transparent oil, Pastel pink, Sage green, Dark grey or Light grey. For the coloured finishes Benlemi uses eco paints suitable for children's furniture and toys. The bed has a three-year warranty, and Benlemi lists ČSN EN 71-3 certification issued by TZÚS Praha, s.p.

When ordering, choose a left- or right-hand ladder and one of four underbed options: no drawer, one storage drawer, two storage drawers, or a pull-out extra bed for a 90 × 190 cm mattress. The variant you select sets the colour, ladder side and underbed option. Bed slats are included.

  • Overall dimensions: 154 × 209 × 105 cm (as given in the assembly manual)
  • Main beds: up to 120 kg each; mattress no thicker than 16 cm
  • Single storage drawer: 55 × 190 cm, up to 20 kg
  • Double storage drawers: 60 × 96 cm each, up to 20 kg per drawer
  • Extra pull-out bed: up to 120 kg; mattress no thicker than 12 cm

The lower bed suits children from three years old. The upper bunk is for children aged six and over, in line with EN 747-1 as stated by Benlemi. For smaller children, Benlemi recommends a soft bumper between the mattress and the frame. Follow all the safety instructions supplied.

An adult must assemble the bed; the diagrams show two people doing it. Use it indoors and anchor it to the wall, as Benlemi recommends. Check and tighten the bolts before first use and regularly after that. Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry; avoid aggressive cleaners and solvents. Keep the room ventilated and the bed away from strong heat sources. Follow the placement and clearance instructions in the manual, and do not attach ropes, straps or other items not meant for use with the bed.
