Patulove makes this car poncho from 100% merino wool as a safe, warm alternative to a car jacket. It keeps a child warm and lets the car seat harness sit close and secure. It is meant for autumn and winter, goes on quickly, feels soft and is made to last.
Magnetic fasteners under the arms make the poncho almost close by itself as you put it on. Extra magnets on the sides keep it shut in windy weather. A full-length double zip lets you open the back easily, buckle the car seat straps and adjust them properly. Reflective details on the sleeves and fasteners make the child easier to see.
The poncho is made of two layers of warm steamed merino wool (approx. 270 g each) and wraps around the child like a soft blanket. The hood can be pulled over the headrest so the child's back does not overheat during the ride. If a child falls asleep, the poncho serves as a blanket: lift them out of the car still wrapped up.

Care: Wash only when needed and air the poncho to freshen it. Hand wash in cold water with a little wool detergent, avoid rubbing and keep the zip closed. Do not wring. Dry flat. Wool pills naturally over time. A gentle machine wool cycle is possible but not recommended.
